MEMPHIS, Tenn. (April 26, 2019) — Frontdoor, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTDR) today announced that its American Home Shield business, the nation’s largest provider of home service plans, has been named to Forbes 2019 list of America’s Best Midsize Employers.
“This is exciting news for many reasons, especially because the recognition is based on feedback from our associates,” said Rex Tibbens, president and chief executive officer of Frontdoor. “We’re truly transforming our company from the inside out. We’re focused on bringing innovative new services and a great experience to homeowners, and it all starts with our associates. Our goal is to create a culture that other companies will envy and emulate.”
America’s Best Employers were chosen based on an independent, anonymous survey of 50,000 U.S. employees who worked full or part-time for companies that employed at least 1,000 people.
Employees rated their willingness to recommend their employer to friends and family, as well as evaluated other employers in their industry as positive or negative. Employees also evaluated their employers based on factors including working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image.
“We have a talented team of more than 2,200 associates who do great things for our customers every day,” said Jen Alessandra, chief people officer of Frontdoor. “Our company is committed to creating an environment for associates where they can grow, develop and enjoy a rewarding career. This is a tremendous honor, and we’re thrilled that our flagship brand, American Home Shield, was named one of America’s Best Midsize Employers.”
