Business Retention and Expansion (BRE)

Carroll County Growth Partnership (CCGP) collects Business Retention and Expansion (BRE) data to understand local market trends. Specifically, CCGP uses the Business Expansion and Strategic Trends (BEST of Iowa) program to collect BRE data because it is a statewide business retention and expansion program. The program is a collaborative effort between local developers, MidAmerican Energy, Alliant Energy, Black Hills Energy, Iowa Area Development Group, and the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA). CCGP uses BEST as it is a national model used for existing business data collected through Synchronist PRIME interviews with local employers. CCGP has over 10 years of experience collecting BRE data. This data helps us understand local trends on workforce, business development and growth, cost increase, regulatory burdens and more.
