Why do you believe in Carroll County Growth Partnership?
In Carroll we've always been fortunate to have good leaders. As the leaders before us go on to enjoy their retirement, it's important that others step up. I've always been a firm believer our time will come to step up and serve and when that time comes, one should do so. CCGP is the organization that brings community and business leaders together to focus on the current and future needs of our community and county.
Why did you want to serve on the Board of Directors for CCGP?
It's extremely important to raise up new leaders and then to step up when the time is right. Our rural communities and counties depend on our leadership. It's up to us to keep cultivating new leadership in an ongoing succession plan for our community and county.
Why do you love to live and work in Carroll County?
Carroll County has always been my home. I have been fortunate to be the second generation owning and operating a family owned business which my father started after the Korean war, in July of 1947. Carroll County is a great place to raise a family, own and business and have life-long friendships.
