Responsibilities
This is a unique dual role, where an experienced IT professional who has an aptitude for leadership and operation can really thrive. As a Systems Engineer II you will be responsible for delivering IT solution with the highest standards of service, quality, and efficiency. As an IT Operation Manager you will provide the day-to-day leadership and management of all IT services of the assigned client. In this dual role you will be accountable for providing reactive technical support and delivering technical projects in about 60% of your time. When wearing your IT Operations Manager hat (40%), you will focus on one specific client. You will be responsible for the execution of their IT plan, managing their day-to-day operations and all contracted services to provide quality and value-added information technology. You will also work with our (v)CIO on their annual development of the 3-Year Strategic IT Plan. You will provide monthly IT Performance Reporting as well.
Qualifications
-Prior IT management experience -Demonstrated abilities in technical troubleshooting and general problem-solving -Solid intermediate knowledge of: 1. Desktop hardware, operating systems and applications 2. Windows servers 3. Server and storage hardware configuration and administration 4. IP networking and security 5. Cloud-based/on-premise email collaboration tools. 6. Desktop virtualization technologies
