Ashley Schable

Ashley Schable works as the program director. A native of Panora, Iowa, she graduated from Buena Vista University where she earned majors in Mass Communication and Journalism and a Marketing minor. She spent 17 years as a reporter for Carroll Herald Publishing Company before joining the organization in August 2018. She successfully plans, markets and executes events, programs and activities for the Chamber of Commerce. She leads the tourism marketing efforts, and is active in encouraging Chamber members to be involved in the organization. She offers support to both the Chamber of Commerce and Carroll County Growth Partnership boards and staff as needed throughout the year.

Schable and her husband Steve, who works in the Rehab Services Department at St. Anthony Regional Hospital, have lived in Carroll since 2001. They have four children, Cade, 18, Camryn, 15, Chase, 11, and Colt, 7. They enjoy spending time in the outdoors, days at the lake, and following their favorite sports teams through the seasons.
